Local Kangaroo Island photographer Rhyy Gaskin initially contacted me with a question about her existing website. After a brief conversation Rhyy asked if I’d be willing to help her put together a whole new site and logo. I quickly agreed, stoked with the opportunity to showcase a local artist and their work.

For the branding - Rhyy requested something that was elegant and welcoming, leaning toward calligraphic and cursive typography.

Rhyy was after a website that allowed her photography to speak for itself. White framing, with soft, moody, earthy elements that are reminiscent of winter days with friends and family on the island. We also loved the idea of incorporating baby’s breath flowers into the design, often used in Rhyy’s photoshoots.
